eToro这个名字你应该在Youtube上听过不少次吧！近期又听到不少eToro的传言，说eToro是个诈骗平台，投资在eToro不合法等等。。。
这里就帮你整理了eToro到底是什么？可不可以在马来西亚投资？和这个平台的优点和缺点。
eToro是一个社交平台，同时也是投资平台，所有人都可以在这平台上分享和讨论自己的投资组合。我也会有时间看看大家发表的言论，听听看现在的局势如何。
很多人误会eToro是一家新创公司，但其实它已经有十多年的历史了。
eToro在2007年成立，是一家以色列公司。
他们的创业使命：让任何人在任何地方都能进行交易，减少对传统金融机构的倚赖。
十几年前，交易股票需要打电话通知中介才可以做买卖，现在确实可以直接在网路上做交易了。而eToro也成功在2009年就推出了线上交易，过不久就结合了社交功能，进而诞生出非常特别的东西- 跟单 (CopyTrader)。eToro的特色功能和专利，等下会解释更多。
目前eToro提供2,000多种金融产品，遍布各种资产种类，包括股票、指数基金、黄金、石油、加密货币等等。
eToro在马来西亚使用真的安全吗？
来自《中国报》的一篇新闻，eToro遭证监会(SC)列入警示名单。看到这标题，一般人直接飙冷汗：eToro真的安全吗？
eToro会遭马来西亚证监会(Securities Commission Malaysia – SC)列入警示名单，主要原因是eToro并没有跟SC注册。
那为何没有注册呢？
其实eToro本身就是个外国公司，跟其他国外交易平台一样(如：TD Ameritrade, FirstTrade, Fidelity, 还有Interactive Brokers) 都没向SC注册执照。
但他们都会在当地的证监会注册，eToro就有在欧洲、英国和澳大利亚注册。

就好像“赌博”在马来西亚是非法的，但如果你到云顶”赌博”就合法了。eToro也是一样的道理，虽然没有受到马来西亚SC的监管，但还是有受到这三个监管机构的资产保护。
万一平台不幸倒闭，影响到投资者在平台上的资金，这时这些监管机构就会出手保护客户在平台上的资金和权益（每个监管机构所保护的项目会有点不同）。

eToro的优点和缺点
优点
免费注册（附加十万美金虚拟账户）
对于新手投资者来说，可以有个地方练习是最好不过了。注册时间大约5分钟就可以搞定！
建议刚接触投资的新手可以先注册账号（反正免费），然后利用虚拟账户实作练习看看自己的投资策略是否可行。不然如果还没熟悉操作就入金，一般新手遇到问题会紧张的不得了，损失也会很大（小心使用杠杆）。
刚开始我也是使用这虚拟账户练习，熟悉一下怎么买卖，设定停损，找股票，分析等等。直到你觉得是时候投资真钱了，才考虑入金。
我今年转到真实投资账户就没理会虚拟账户了，现在回头看尽然还赚的不少！
操作简单，清楚页面（手机APP）
页面很干净和清楚，操作方法也很简单，如果有不懂的也可以看教学来操作，超级方便。
我也非常喜欢它的手机APP，真的很方便、好用。在非常时期的时候，不需要一直呆着电脑前也可以查到最新消息。
明星投资者账户公开（跟单）
eToro的特色就是一切都很透明化，如果想知道那些著名投资者在投资什么都可以到他们的账号去看，这里可以举例Spark, Yale 和好叶。
找到符合自己投资策略的社交圈
找不到可以讨论的对象真的很闷，但在eToro就不用怕找不到。你可以在投资商品的交流区底下发言或跟其他人交流。与其自己想象，不如和其他人交流看看自己的想法是否可以验证。
超低手续费
在eToro买卖股票不需要手续费（没使用杠杆），股票发的股息（被美国扣税以后）也不会被平台征收任何手续费。
（只是举例，真实收费需要查询自家银行）
如果是在本地买卖美股就需要25美金的手续费，还没赚钱就已经亏了25美金。请别小看这些手续费，这都是可以降低的买卖成本，所以必需重视。
如果是股息的话，在被银行中介征收手续费就真的所剩无几了。
可以清楚看到股息再被各种手续费扣除后，几乎等于什么都没有。
有中文客服
遇到问题的时候，最重要的就是可以直接找到人解决。找到客服寻求答案就非常关键了。
eToro也有提供中文客服，而且都会在24小时内回复讯息。
我曾经就有遇过入金的问题，就必须到客服询问怎么解决。虽然每个讯息需要一天的时间回复，但最终还是解决了问题。
出金容易
eToro出金容易，只要申请出金隔天就会收到email通知或电话来电确认。
eToro的出金收费也才5美金（今年刚调整从25美金至5美金），不过还是建议尽可能累积大金额才选择出金。
缺点
股票和ETF的商品选择较少
如果你想在eToro找到马股就不可能了，eToro目前最适合用来投资美股。
虽然有2000多种商品选择，不过还是不能盖过全球的商品，所以在eToro可能会找不到你想投资的公司股票或ETF。
但也仅限于小公司，那些全球著名的公司还是会在eToro找到，如：Google, Facebook, Tesla, Netflix, Disney, S&P500,…
